Animal Reiki 

GiGi is a Reiki Practitioner that has an overt love of animals. She uses her gifts to provide Reiki energy healing for health and well-being to animals in all stages of life. Reiki offers many practical applications for your animal friends. You may see relaxation, cessation of symptoms and/or resolution of situations. Reiki is effective when used for health and well-being, such as in the cases of illness, emotional upset, emergencies or surgery. Reiki is excellent for bringing harmony into the home, such as during a move or other stressful times, or with a new addition to the family. I have also witnessed very wonderful and comforting results s. Leave it to Reiki to help bring a peaceful resolution at the end of an animals' life.

 Our animal companions bring so much to our lives. Their joy of living is an example to us. Their unconditional love is a model for how we should strive to live our own lives. By offering them the healing of Reiki, can give something back to them for all that they have given us. Animals are very open to the healing energy of Reiki. Using Reiki with them can accelerate their healing process, ease pain, improve or help to continue their quality of life. Animals love receiving the Reiki energy and benefit greatly from it.

Reiki can be used for all types of illnesses and injuries in animals, especially soothing and comforting to animals that are nervous or in pain, or having difficulty recuperating from surgery. Also, animals too afraid to be touched, unable to be moved, aggressive, or wild, can be treated as effectively from a distance, "distant healing". Reiki has principles or symbols that automatically set the intent as positive, and does not rely on the belief to work. Finding the cause of the illness is often done with a case history and diagnosis of the animal. Reiki is gentle and can be done hands on or from a distance. The healer is a transmitter of healing energy to which animals respond amazingly well and faster than humans. Our pets live in the moment; they have no preconceived notions to get over. They understand healing energy and its benefits immediately; some will actually come looking for it. Animal healing is exactly the same as healing people.

Reiki is not a replacement for traditional medical treatments. They should be used as an addition to traditional medical treatments and counseling. You should always see your doctor or veterinarian for any questions you may have regarding your own or your pets' health. However, we find that Reiki can and has cured illness and helped with healing after medical treatment.

Animal Reiki Prices

Below there are several animals listed along with cost for service, if you do not see your particular animal listed please email or call to make arrangements. Payment for all animal Reiki house calls is expected prior to session the day of service, unless other arrangements have been previously made. If you have more than one pet that needs Reiki add $10.00 for each additional pet.

Your bird will determine how the Reiki session will be conducted. If yours is a bird who will tolerate being held by a stranger then I will hold him/her giving them Reiki for up to 15 minutes, then break working up to a thirty-minute/60-minute session. The duration of intervals will be dependent on their size, for a larger breed this session would be longer for as long as the bird is comfortable. If yours is a bird who does not like to be touched by strangers than the Reiki will be delivered while your bird remains in his/her cage.

Depending on the nature of your cat a typical session would involve holding, petting, and/or even grooming while I give your cat Reiki. A normal session will last an hour unless otherwise arranged by owner, Reiki intervals will be determined by your cat and how much he or she wishes to absorb at one time. If your cat is shy, finicky or just not a social sort, Reiki can be given from a short distance and preferably while the cat is contained in a small room or carrier.

 Dogs are easy to give Reiki                                     to  as few dogs dislike attention. A Reiki session

 for a dog is usually an hour                                      of lovin', but for those pooches that are fearful,

skittish around strangers or                                       snappy Reiki can be given at a distance.

Horses readily accept Reiki and it is especially easy to give while grooming. A Reiki session can either be given with the horse in his/her stall or with another person holding the halter or lead.
